Kal

KalBorn in Bulgaria, Kal's parents bought him a classic guitar when he was 9 years old, but instead of becoming a guitar player, he ended up as a drummer. Before he got his proper drums, he was making a drum kit out of containers (whatever it takes to get some sound outJ ) When he was only 13 he recorded the drums for a rock band (the rock music had a big influence on Kal's at the time). He was part of 3 bands when 15; recorded with each of them and also performed at various festivals and concerts. The amount of passion that he puts into his playing is clear to see and it comes across in his music.

After his service in the army, he found a job in the local radio as a sound engineer and after gaining more experience in it, he found another of his passions. He got into Uni to study Sound Engineering and Produce Management. He wanted to develop more and moved to one of the biggest radios in Bulgaria. Kal specialized mainly in audio production. As a result of his newfound interest, he decided to challenge himself even more and he opened his own production studio. During the 8 years working in the radios, Kal was known for his incredible voiceover through the many jingles and audio adverts he created.

However, in 2007 Kal decided to go to London and get more life experience, but his love for music never left him. He kept helping musicians with their recordings. The daily job wasn't enough, he continued looking for the right band to be part of, so he could lose himself in the music and get away from the everyday life.
